Musician. Songwriter. Inventor. Visionary. Jerry Riopelle passionately believed in the power of music to improve people's lives. Jerry began Beamz with the vision to enable everyone to experience music making by “playing light”. The company initially accomplished this vision through its sophisticated, yet simple to use, laser beam controllers combined with the innovation of structuring interactive music, which enables anyone to make great sounding harmonious music with a minimal learning curve. While our technology has evolved significantly with our entry into virtual reality, we’re still remaining true to Jerry's spirit - making new music, evolving the technology for broader use in education and healthcare, and above all, always encouraging everyone to experience the fun and joy of making music to enrich and improve life.

Musician. Technologist. Inventor. Visionary. "Doc" Bencar joined his close friend Jerry Riopelle in the Beamz vision to create an extraordinary way for anyone to experience the joy and satisfaction of making harmonious interactive music.
Making music by "playing light" had a "wow" factor to it - drawing attention and inviting curiosity. However, the true innovation lies with the framework, technology and platform for creating interactive music using the initial content creation platform for PC computers. We're thankful for "Doc's" dedication to evolving the content creation platforms and our technology for use with iOS devices and now for XR/VR applications.
And if your wondering about the icon choice instead instead of a picture, yes, "Doc" is a drummer.

Beamz has partnered with Share Your Blessings Incorporated, a nonprofit organization, to help support Project Maestro - a collaborative music gifting program designed to get Beamz products into the hands of individuals and families that have members with special needs or disabilities. Share Your Blessings also supports individuals, families and special needs support organizations with a variety of training, education lesson plans, therapy resources and activities.
